Dear Valued Guest,

On behalf of Sotherly Hotels and Our Town Hospitality, we appreciate you, your business, and the trust you place in us to host you as our guest at The DeSoto. In light of the current environment, I would like to provide you with an update on the measures we have put in place to protect your health and safety during your stay with us.

  1. (1) We are carefully monitoring the situation and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other health authorities.
  2. (2) We have always taken the cleanliness of our hotels seriously.  We know this is more important than ever.  Aligned with guidance from health authorities, we are implementing additional measures to clean and disinfect our hotels.
  3. (3) While we look forward to continuing to serve you during this time, we recognize some travel plans may change.  To provide you with flexibility for these changes, we are extending our existing no-fee cancellation policy to include guests with pre-paid reservations from now until June 30, 2020.  Customers who have booked through a third-party are encouraged to contact that party directly.
  4. (4) As always, team member wellbeing is also a top priority.  We are encouraging team members to follow health authority best practices like frequent hand washing and staying home if they are feeling ill.
