The DeSoto has 246 guest rooms, including suites, king rooms and standard rooms.

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

21 is the minimum check-in age.

Yes. A credit card is required at check-in for all reservations. A daily authorization is also held for incidental charges. This requirement applies regardless of how the reservation was booked.

Refrigerators are included in suites and Executive King Balcony rooms. Refrigerators may also be available upon request for other room types, subject to availability and applicable fees.

Microwaves are included in suites and Executive King Balcony rooms. They are not currently available in other room types.

In-room dining is currently unavailable. Guests can enjoy several on-site dining options, including 1540 Room, Edgar’s Proof & Provision and Buffalo Bayou.

A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation at The DeSoto. Advance Purchase Rates require full, non-refundable payment at the time of booking. Deposit requirements may vary for special events, packages and group reservations.

The standard cancellation policy is generally 48 hours prior to arrival, but cancellation requirements can vary by rate, package, special event or reservation type. Guests should refer to their reservation confirmation for the cancellation policy that applies to their stay. Group cancellation policies are outlined in the applicable group contract.
